Measure Guide
Each L&B Bespoke Design is both created and based on the standard Australian sizing.
Below is our measurement chart in both metric and imperial sizing, included in the measurement chart are sizing guides for the following:
Lengths: Bella Dress – Gillian Skirt – Tilly Pant
Sleeve Lengths: Baker Top - Bella Dress
1. Bust – measure around the fullest part of your bust and back, without making the tape measure tight.
2. Waist – traditionally this measurement is taken around the waist at the belly button point.
3. Hip – the optimum place to take this measurement is around the fullest part of your hips, without making the tape measure tight.
4. Dress length – to measure the length of the dress, place the tape measure in the centre of the shoulder and run it down to the hemline
* The measurement for the skirt length is with the waistband folded in half
** Waistband measurement is 11cm - 4 ½ inch
5. Skirt length – for the skirt length, place the tape measure at your waistline and run the tape down to the hemline
6. Pant length – same with the pant, run the tape measure from the waistline to the hemline on the outside of the leg.
7. Sleeve length Top/Dress – to measure the length of the sleeve, bend your arm slightly at the elbow, then start at the edge of the shoulder and run the tape measure down the arm to the length.
